Delete your account
GARRINCHA Connect · account & data deletion
You can delete your GARRINCHA Connect account and personal data at any time. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open GARRINCHA Connect and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Delete Account.
- Confirm in the dialog. Your account is deactivated immediately and all sessions are signed out.
Request deletion without the app
If you can no longer access the app, email privacy@garrincha.be from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. To protect your account we may ask you to confirm ownership of the email address before we proceed. We complete verified requests within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your profile, player passport, and profile photo
- Your posts, stories, reels, comments, and messages
- Your matches, challenges, and activity history
- Your account credentials and device tokens
Your personal data is erased within 30 days of a confirmed request.
What may be retained
A limited amount of data may be kept only where the law requires it — for example, payment and billing records are retained for 7 years to comply with Belgian accounting law. Any retained records are kept secure and used only for that legal purpose. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.
